Job Description

Reputable large plaintiff litigation law firm is seeking an administrative assistant that provides administrative and legal support to attorneys, ensuring high-quality, timely, and confidential client service. This role requires managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, format, and proofread legal documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Prepare and electronically file court documents
  • Respond promptly to attorney requests via various communication methods
  • Manage document organization, scheduling, and coordination of firm resources
  • Support attorneys in using technology to improve efficiency and work quality
  • Handle work handoffs with clear instructions to maintain accuracy
  • Balance shifting priorities across multiple offices
  • Perform additional assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of general office or law firm experience (legal or professional services preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • Proficiency with office equipment and computer systems
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Top Requirements

  1. Minimum 1 year of law firm experience (high-volume preferred)
  2. Bilingual skills are a plus, not required
  3. Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
